Alternatives to lectures

Media Enhanced Teaching and Learning (METAL) Workshop, University of Nottingham (11/01/2012).

I was invited to outline methods to make lectures more interactive. This talk looked at what effect watching lectures or video recordings has on overcoming misconceptions, methods including peer discussion of misconceptions that might improve learning and use of audience response system/electronic voting system technology to do so.
