Engaging mathematics students via e-assessment & screen annotation

A first year transition module has been redeveloped to include on-screen annotation, videos of worked solutions and formative e-assessment. These aspects are intended to increase student engagement. The redevelopment is being investigated and evaluated via final year undergraduate projects. This talk will outline these projects and their findings.
